Child Safety Standards
Last updated: 15 October 2026 · Operator: Seyit Ahmet TANRIVER · Child safety point of contact: [email protected]
Voisper is a voice chat app for adults aged 18 and older only. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). These standards apply to the Voisper Android app, the website and every feature (random and group calls, friends, messages, photos, videos and voice messages, profiles), and are part of our Terms of Use.
Strictly prohibited
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM): sharing, requesting, storing, distributing or linking to any photo, video, audio, text, drawing or AI-generated content that sexually depicts or sexualizes anyone under 18.
- Contacting a child for sexual purposes, gaining a child's trust in order to abuse them (grooming), or proposing to meet them.
- Asking a child for sexual images, or threatening or blackmailing anyone with such images (sextortion).
- Any content that praises, promotes or normalizes the sexual abuse of children, child trafficking or sexual interest in children.
- Continuing to talk with someone who says or appears to be under 18. If this happens, end the call and report them.
- Signing up for Voisper while under 18, or giving false information about your age.
Age limit and age check
- Date of birth is required at sign-up. Our server checks it: no one under 18 can create an account. The same check applies when the date of birth is changed later.
- Accounts suspected of belonging to someone under 18 are reviewed; accounts found to belong to minors are closed.
- Voisper is not directed at children and is not marketed to them.
Safety by design
- With strangers you can only have voice calls; there is no video. Strangers cannot see each other's photos and cannot send each other messages, photos or files.
- Messages, photos, videos and voice messages are only possible between friends who have both accepted the friendship.
- You are never matched again with someone you block; if you were friends, the friendship and messages are deleted.
In-app reporting
You can report without leaving the app:
- After a call: when a random call ends, tap the Report button on the screen.
- In a group call: tap the person's tile and choose Report or block.
- On profiles and in chats: open the person's profile (tap their photo in your friends list or their name at the top of the chat), then More → Report or Block.
Choose Under 18 or Sexual content as the reason, add a short note if you like, and tick Also block this person to block them right away.
Reporting by email
If you cannot access the app, or you want to report without an account (for example as a parent or teacher), write to [email protected]. Include the username, what happened and when. Do not attach or forward any abusive images; a description is enough.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact the police first: 112 in Türkiye, or your local emergency number elsewhere.
How we respond to reports
- Authorized staff review every report; reports about child safety are prioritized.
- An account that receives enough reports from different people in a short time is automatically removed from random calls until reviewed. "Under 18" and "Sexual content" reports carry more weight in this check.
- When a violation is confirmed, the content is removed and the account is permanently closed. There is no prior warning for CSAE violations.
- Accounts found to belong to anyone under 18 are closed.
Reporting to authorities and cooperation
When we become aware of CSAM or of a child being exploited, we remove the content, close the account, preserve the relevant records as and for as long as the law requires, and report it to the competent authorities: in Türkiye to İhbar Web (ihbarweb.org.tr) and law enforcement; where applicable to the NCMEC CyberTipline or the competent authority in the relevant country. We respond to lawful requests from law enforcement in accordance with the law.
Legal compliance
Voisper complies with applicable child safety laws and with Google Play's child safety standards. We review these standards regularly and update them when needed.
Child safety point of contact

For parents and guardians
Voisper is not for anyone under 18. If you believe your child is using Voisper, write to us (include the username if you know it); we will review and close the account.
